front end question?????

Hey guys and gals,

I have a friend at work that wants to give me a front clip off of a 4th gen Nova. It has disc brakes and that it what I want to put on my '70. My question to you guys, knowers of all things Nova, is will they fit? What year will they stop fitting? He believes that the car is a 78 or 79. He told me that he will be getting the correct year soon.

i dont think it will fit, the knuckles are steered from the front instead of the back..the 4th gen nova is more like a second gen camaro and later model chevelles

68-74 novas are the years that will fit..there alot of other cars that will fit which you can find in some topics a few pages back

Now I have a direction to look at the parts. I thought it would be more of a size difference than where they get steered from.

Free parts are great, but if they don't fit they're just more junk in the yard.
