1969 Power Slide Question

Hi Were there any of the 1969 Nova Super Sports equt'ed with Power Glides?
Or all 3 speed automatic's.

The engines available on the 1969 SS were:

L48 350 CI 295 HP Engine with 4 barrel carb.
L34 396 CI 350 HP Engine.
L78 396 CI 375 HP Engine.

The L48 engine was available with a Powerglide.

So, yes 1969 SS Nova could have came with a Powerglide. The key is the codes on the engine and trans.

I think that is the '68 HP figure for the L48...I believe in '69 the L48 was rated at 300HP:)

Your right, wrong HP for 1969. Too many details to keep up with. But the L48 was available with a Powerglide in 1969. ;)

A guy I went to see about a shifter said he had BB car with power glide and waved the Canada Doc.but didn't pay any real attention to it I've got to look this guy up and check the paper work.

The Nova Resource site lists that as a possible combo for '69 ONLY BUT people with far more knowledge than I have have said that isnt too likely.....I would love to see some docs that either prove or disprove that combo...:)

I'm hoping he'll let me copy it or photograph it,he was a little sensitive when I turned down his rusty shifter for $200 dollars cause I told him a new one was only $150.I will even offer this site for him to post if he wants.
