New Best...Again

Well, just got back from the first race of the season. We were dealing with possible rain showers, so we only got one time trial. I got beat in the first round, but I can't complain about the numbers.

I knew the car had a 10 in it :) . I have an idea it went 10.996 due to my missing 2nd to drive shift by about 400 RPM. I had a brain fart and didn't shift when the light came on, then I noticed it and shifted at 7300. The car didn't mind it at all, and it kept on pulling hard.

My opponent had an .036 light, and ran a 9.180 on a 9.18 dial. I had the light to beat her, but there was no way to close the gap on a car that comes on you so fast. I had to run it out the back door. Regardless, I got the 10 sec. time slip!

Sounds like ya got it running real strong.:) Just hope I can get mine up and running, let alone get it to the strip.:( The day will come.

We did have a tail wind, so that may have been what gave me the little "push" I needed.

Ultimately, I'm extremely pleased with the consistency of the car. I feel so much more confident, which gives me a better mental edge than I had in the past.

Of course, I owe it all to my brother Stan!
