I bead blasted my aluminum heads and intake to get the paint off.
Now they look white. Is there a way to get back that nice "fresh out of the box as cast" look.

Try eastwood,I think they have some paint for that.

I have heard of blasting with walnut shells to get that look. I dont know if it will work after bead blasting though.

You can buy the "cast" color spray at any of the auto supply stores. It looks good. Glass bead blasting works on some metals too for a different finish.

Goodson makes a good product I used when I rebuilt engines at my last job
It is called Last Blast.

You don't need to coat aluminum with anything after you blast them. If they're bare you can even use a glass bead cabinet and just be real careful to avoid any surfaces like valve seats etc.
I have however had real good luck, spraying cast alum. parts down with wd-40 after they've been blasted. This tends to keep them looking better longer.

I recently used a wire wheel on air motor after blasting mine, it brought back that shiny as cast look and didnt leave any scratch marks either.
