I haven't run at Irwindale in a few years, and last time I had a muffler system.I'm currently only running a perforated metal muffler that is in the collector turnout. Will they let me run with this, or will I need to install the muffler system?
Thanks,
Bill

When my Dad and I ran there with the old Camaro S/G car we ran the same cone perforated muffler on the collector and got away with it, but they did give us a hard time on one occasion.

I guess my other post went into space--some nights they let noisy stuff slide, sometime they don't. If the city happens to be out that night, you won't get thru tech. Your best bet is to call Bob Klein and ask nicely if you can make a pass or two with a car that is slightly above the limit. He lets the occasional unmuffled dragster run, and some exhibition type vehicles so ya never know. If you mention my name, he might........charge you double!! hehehehe!
