New Race Car

[NOGO]

My Dad and I have been racing Super Gas and Street for a long time now and he decided to build a new car(from a roller) last summer. Well after months of hard work the car is done and we went to test last weekend. Everything went well- but there are still a few bugs to work out! Here are a couple pics:

Bryan, looks REAL Nice !!! is that the same engine etc that yer Dad had in the Camaro, or is it different ??? you guys lookin' at another trip up here soon ??? (weather's been a bit nasty)

so, it ran OK and everything ??? how many passes ya make, how many yer DAD make ??? ;)

Thanks Johnny! The engine is all new(for us anyways)- its a 548 making about 900 HP.

My Dad was the only one to drive it this time- he made 4 passes. We are having a small fuel problem and the converter is a bit tight so we have a little work to do. We didnt run it all out(we were trying to get a handle on the dual throttle stops), but he ran a mid 9, two 10, and 11 second passes.

Most importantly the car goes straight and stops well!:D

man, i wish we had the money to do a tube car....but for the backhalf car works :D ...nice ride...what kind of mph @ 9.90 does it run? my father is lookinto step up from super et to div. 1 super street...we just need to get a stop, but his car would be killer...its a 8.90-9.00 car @ 150...so it should go 10.90 @ 145-150

We didnt make a 9.90 run but I would say 150 conservatively, but most likely somewhere in the low 150s. BTW, my Dad will be in D1 next season as he is moving to the east coast- so watch out!!!;) :D

That kinda stinks that he's moving. Our joke was that your dad were to put my name on the side for the tig welding I did to the cage, but people would be scratching their heads as to why a "west coast" phone number were to be on an East Coast car!!!:D Be a funny joke,though. Paint job looks real good!!

awesome, we race englishtown, and atco...they say D1 is the toughest :D
