brake lines

I have a 65 with a V8. I just installed a power assist front disc brake system. After reading past posts I think the next step should be to change the front to rear line to one from a 67. How does this tie into the rear T. Will the 65 flex hose work?

I'm a little confused, the rear brakes remained stock, why should there be a need to change anything going to the rear drum brakes?

The stock front to rear line runs down the right side. With a V8 the dual exhaust runs right below the brake and fuel lines. The line on a 67 runs down the left rocker away from any exhaust heat. As long as I'm replacing lines I figured i might as well correct this.

Unless you're talking less than an inch of clearance, I would think it's good to go.

I just finished my disc upgrade on my 65 and left the brake line on the passenger side with headers. Went riding Sunday for a couple hours with no problems.

What type of master cylinder are you using? As far as whether the 67 front to rear line will work, the answer is yes.
