Both of these kits have been rereleased and can be found in many good hobby stores for about 12 bucks. Nice to see them back though. I built the funnycar kit back in the 60's and have it in a display case in my shop.

I need to start shopping at your hobby shop. Minimum I see here at Hobby City or Hobby People is $16 for a regular car kit. Sometimes more for one of those reissue kits.

I just wait until I come across a lot of 100 kits for $300, then get everything I want dirt cheap.

All the plastic model kit companies (most noticeably Revell) are about to go out of business, only thing keeping them alive is the old farts who still build kits =\

ERTL will do fine, people always want diecast display cars... they dont have to build or paint them.

I sell models so I like old farts! :D
