I just got a 8.5 10bolt with multi leaf perches, and my car has mono springs. Is there a company that sells spacers?

You could try lowering blocks. On mine I used pinion wedges to help the launch, which at the same time took up the space.

I think I'll try these 1" lowering blocks http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8033483493&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Why not upgrade to multileafs? I've got a pair if you want to ship them.

I would like to keep the mono's, because some people have told me that the monos provide better wieght transfer for better launches.

I have read on this site that drag racing with lowering blocks is not a good idea...I know many that have ran lowering blocks and dragged with seemingly no problem, my car included, but I'm sure that is what I read....
Possibly someone else will have a little more info on this????...
EDIT: I did a quick search and came up this thread..where they mention that lowering blocks, especially the hollow cast aluminum types, might not be a good idea when drag racing
