I'd have to say that after seeing and shooting the cars so close,that my favorite car of the day of racing Sunday had to be (there are a few!) the blown orange early 70's Camaro with the side graphics.That guy frequents Irwindale and beats the tar out of that car,and it is clean enough to possibly win an award in the Pro-engineered. When you are next to it, it leaves like a screaming banshee and the front wheels were easily over three feet off the ground every pass. Next up would have been that beige little box Nova that ran mid nine's,and you would never have known it was so plain jane. A fun day to say the least, except for that guy from Popular Hot Rodding who kept on following me to try and get my good shots!:D
