66 Trim Help?

Bought a 66 in pieces. Need to know how to install the upper trim that holds the window fuzzie in place below the quarter window. Does it "snap on"? Also, has anyone successfully put a new fuzzie on the door without removing the trim? Car is already painted so, removing it could cause problems.

Pretty sure the chrome piece has a couple of screws to hold it on and the fuzzy snaps in, if you are talking about the outside window sill piece.:)
