66 67 steering column cover ?

hey guys got one for ya .Ijust got this part the guy said it was for a 66 77 nova i tried to put it on my ss 66 it dont look right or bolt up ,how ever it does match the dash contor perfect but the collar looks to big .did they have this part for a 66 or does it just fit 67thanks phillip:confused:

not sure bro, i do know that it came on 67's and it is kinda hard to get it on i can snap a pic of mine if u want I will repost later tonight.

67 was the first year for the collapsible steering column, completely different from the 66...

thanks thats the part .i guess it dont fit 66 novas i got it off ebay assumed it would fit mine .the said he will take it back .and i will pass on the that tid bit of info .i have had my car for 25 years and still dont know it all:rolleyes:
