Do I need bucket seats?

I am planning on getting a hurst quarter stick for my 70 pretty soon, and was wondering if I need bucket seats. I'm currently using the stock bench and am going to get buckets eventually anyway, but I just wanted to know if there is enough clearance so that I can at least use it with the bench temporarily until I find some buckets.

You should be fine. Just put it in and line it up BEFORE you do any cutting.

I see alot of bench cars with the Pro Stick or the Q stick. I had a 71 with a bench and a Pro Stick. Later.
