dash lights went out?

well my dash lights just blowed a fuse ,3 amp.
will it hurt anything to put a little larger one in?
say 5 amp . may just have been a week fuse too start with.

I would not go any higher amperage fuse that what blew. If it blows again find out why. They put certain amp rated fuses in for a reason.

Your tailights are probably on the same fuse as your dash lights. It should have at least a 10 amp fuse to run all those lights.
