Took the car out for the first race of the season at Mokan Dragway (Pittsburg Kansas). Took third place!

454 + .060 over , stroked this winter to a 496

Shooting for 10's on the motor... still have a little bit to go

Awsome vidoes; looks like that 496 runs like it should. Some tweaking and I'm sure youe be hitting the high to mid 10's

I didnt have very much time to test and tune it. I ran the 11.26 on Saturday with the 650 Might Demon, then put on the 850 DP. The car then ran 11.20 with one more mph. So i think a bigger carb is in the plans. I left the 650 demon on it for the race because it seemed more responsive. Weather was a little different on Sunday and it ran a 11.14 @ 119mph. Later in the race i lifted to avoid a breakout and ran 11.14@ 112mph.

I'll be looking to get something between 850 and 950 cfm.
