Looking for front coil springs that are a little taller than stock height..any suggestions appreciated.

Did you check the specs on "with air conditioning" coils ? I once ran small block air coils (in a small block car without air) and they had a little higher static height.
Of course if the car has air then you're no further ahead.

Moog, TRW, McQuay Norris and others use the same basic numbering scheme for coil springs.
For a BB 3rd gen Nova 6312 is called for.
For a BB 1st gen Camaro 638 is called for.
Both have approximately the same rate, but the 638 is a little taller. 6322 would give you the additional height plus be a little stiffer.

Depends on what your looking for and how much you want to spend, but my neighbor had steel 1/2" spacers machined for his race car. This would probably be the cheaper way. As for being correct for your application I don't know.
