Distributor Numbers?

I am restoring a 71 nova and picked up a distributor the # are 1B15 is this a 71? Thanks

1 is 71 b is Feb 15 is 15th day this is a date correct distributor the 1111--- numbers will tell you what engine application it belongs to.

the first # are 1112047

Sorry Hotrod but I've only kept 69 BB info but I'll see what I can find.Someone else may also know where to get this info.
