Mounting studs

Anyone have a good fix for broken metal mounting studs like on the hood lip chrome or emblem? I have two that have broken when I removed from the hood on the 66. They are really on a seperate piece attached to the onside of the chrome but don't look like it is removable.. Epoxy probably won't hold will it??

I have used JB weld and it has always worked.

i don't think it'd hold in yer situation Jerry... those pins take a little torque when the nuts are attached, i'd bet the JB would break... couldn't hurt ta try though, right ???

I kept trying to think of a better wording but nothing came to mind:D

I think I will try to drill out the center -maybe tap the middle and get some sort of smaller screw started in it along with some ole JB Weld:)
