i just bought the car this past friday 10th and everyday it seems to look better and better to me even with the green "that i thought would be the first thing to go" but i may just have to keep the color..

Love the car, love the color. But why is there a Chevy motor in it!?!?!

Just kidding. But a Poncho 400 would be cooler. :D

Cool Car! My dad traded my mom's 64 Chevy II on a new Pontiac Ventura hatchback in 1973!

I agree with the others too...keep the color, I think it looks great. Maybe paint the raised part of the hood flat black to match the scoop.

I like the Ventura, the chevy motor and the green.
Mines a Ventura II and not a Sprint.
Did yours come with a 350 ?

Mine was a 307 also.
Long gone though.
What is the difference from the Sprint and the Ventura II ?

I was wondering where all the Ventura guys were hanging out.:D

Scott: Ventura's came with Chevy 250 I6's, 307's and Pontiac 350's from the factory. That's probably because Pontiac didn't make a motor smaller than a 350 at that time.

I like it! Keep the color too! I really like the venturas alot, and am glad people are starting to build them rather than use them as parts for novas.

Very nice!

There is at least one place that sells a roll cage kit that has "seat saver" bars as an option.......they go down through the package tray. Cant remember where I saw that....it was either Chris Alston Chassis Works or maybe SW Racecars......I think.

Sweet car I LOVE the color don't change it, I've been sneaking around this Nova Site for a year now asking the Nova guys questions about that are really for my 71 Ventura! (Shhhh!) Just kidding, everyone around here loves all the x-bodies and are so helpful. I seriously wouldn't be where I am today with my project if it wasn't for this website! My Ventura has much more serious rust than just bubbles. And I wish I could do body work...I might try it this summer, but I will need to do some welding which I've never done before.

I haven't figured out the photo thing yet on this website, but I ahve lots of photos of my rebuild on cardomain.com, ride number 831392.

Sweet car, enjoy it!
