Rear Inner Wheelhouses

I have looked high and low for new rear inner wheel houses and can't find them. The closest I have I come are inners for Chevelles from Goodmark. Can someone tell me if these will fit or not, I mean the Chevelle is pretty darn close to the Nova. I would hate to buy these for $149.95 each and they not fit.

Greetings,

The Paddock (www.paddockparts.com) in Indiana has them and they fit rather well. That's what was used on mine. I'm sure the other Nova parts companies have them as well.

Are you sure? I have only seen them supply the outers not the inners.

The inners are the ones that are in the trunk the outers are near the quarter pannel.

You could always go ahead and make em wider while your cutting....

Ok, I have asked Goodmark, YearOne, and Chevy2Only, and all 3 say that the Chevelle inner wheel wells WILL NOT fit the Novas because they are 2 totally different cars although some aspects of them appear to be the same. So there you have it.

I've seen vendors sell these as 'Camaro / Nova'. but has anyone actually tried fitting them ?

also, on ame track, if looking at a similar car for inner wheelhouses (stock ones), I would certainly look at the 1st generation Camaro before a Chevelle, since the unibody is likely closer than an A-body.

They are suposed to be dead on correct (just wider). I remember A member here installing them in his 3rd gen Nova and he posted pics from the time they arrived at his garage to the finished product but I don't know what the thread was titled. It was quite A while ago.

Ya know, I had actually posted a thread about using 1st gen Camaro inners a few months back but no one knew if they would fit so I never tried it.

Detroit Speed deep tubs mounted up to NOS gm outers.

Detroit Speeds deep tubs are not your typical paper thin repros, these things are just as thick and possibly thicker than Genuine GM metal !

Maybe you want to talk to this member. I'm not sure if 74's will work but think they might.

I see Sherman and Cross Canada list both stock outer and inner wheelhouses. Items 24 for inner and 29 for outer .

Sorry, didn't realize they were the fronts, which are only one piece.
