I have a roller cam from a sbc here are the numbers I can find on it.

on the back of the cam (opposite end from where the timing gear bolts).

1264
3 00
8292

Then on the area where the lobe for the fuel pump would be it says:
2122*
28598 (or 23598, not stamped well).

Any help would be great

Thanks,
Miles

My Vortec 305 roller cam spec (PN 10241264) is:
191/196 @ .050" .414"/.428" lift, 111 LSA
If I remember right your 305 was pre 1996 Non Vortec.

If it has "156" stamped anywhere on it may be the 305 TBI "peanut" cam:
179/194 @ .050, .350/.385" lift, 109 LSA

Measure the across lobe axis and across the base circle. subtract base circle from lobe to get lobe lift. Multiply by rocker ratio to get approximate lift.
That will give you a clue.

After thinking about that I had come up with the same idea. It was aprox .415 & .425 with a 1.5 rocker. Thanks for the help Paul. I still am not sure what I am going to do lol.
