I know a 9" has an offset pumpkin, but I don't think it's $400 - $600 worthy. If he's not sure, then he's never done them. I would find somebody who has. ChrisBorsheim 11th-November-2009, 12:19 AM I've got a guy charging 175 to narrow the housing. tjhfd87 11th-November-2009, 03:30 AM thanks for the heads up guys, all the info is great, but you guys aren't in cali...:(anyone know of a guy in so cal that does good work for a good price. 67 church 11th-November-2009, 05:53 AM thanks for the heads up guys, all the info is great, but you guys aren't in cali...:(anyone know of a guy in so cal that does good work for a good price. PM Teddisnoke he can either do it or point you in the right direction. Either way he will be in good hands...... patman 11th-November-2009, 08:29 AM Depends on what you're getting for that price. If that's just to narrow the housing, that's expensive. If that includes spring pads, axles, new gears, rebuilding/replacing the center section, new brakes, etc...ready to bolt on the car...that's pretty good. bowtie0069 11th-November-2009, 11:46 AM local shop estimated me at 600-800 You can buy a bolt-in housing with lifetime guaranteed axles for $895 from this place: http://www.9inchfactory.com/boltin.shtml Or a complete housing with axles, bearings, studs and retainers for $650 from this place: http://quickperformance.com/Products/housings.htm anyone know of a guy in so cal that does good work for a good price Try Jim Cook in Ontario:Performance Differential 1601 S Cucamonga Ave Ontario, CA 91761 (909) 923-7707 tjhfd87 11th-November-2009, 07:03 PM thanks for all the input guys | |
