Guys I'm looking for some used wheels in good shapre with classic low attension getting looks, read sleeper. I'd love a set of rally's or steelies with baby moons but what I need to know is what models can I look for that have the following configuration:

15x7 3.5" backspace
15x7 4.5" backspace

Obviously with a chevy 5 bolt pattern.

Wheel vintique will make any configuration you need, and for an early nove the closer to 5" of back spacing the better

What I'm looking for is a model of car/rim which has the config I want. Primarily because I'm cheap but also because I like making stock parts look good.

I plan on Skinny up front and as wide as possible out back. I measured with a homemade tool and because I didn't trust myself looked up the fitment from previous threads.

I'm contemplating rolling my rear fenderwell lips to gain just a bit more.

What looks safe to me without rolling the lip is a 15x7 with 4.5bs rim and 225 60 sneaker.

If I roll I can probably get up to a 1/2 inch back in the wheelwell... I think 4.5BS leaves a little wiggle room (might be a little over .5 inch but too close to call witht he "tool" I made.) before the rear spring and if I go with a little more backspace, say around 4.75 (or 5) then it looks like I can squeeze a 235 or 245 in there.

Next I'd have to figure what profile to run. I'm a little old school and I like the look of tall tires without lowering the car (call me crazy) but I want to make sure I retain the the right gearing as well. 1/2 an inch makes a difference in you get up and go, I have 3:73's and I'd like them to act as "big" as possible.

A 225/60 is 25.6 inches tall and 8.9 wide
A 235/60 is 26.1 inches tall and 9.3 wide
A 245/60 is 26.5 inches tall and 9.6 wide
A 245/50 is 24.6 inches tall and 9.6 wide

From my point of view a 245/50 would be the balls but I'm thinking that just might not be in the cards given it is 3/4 of an inch wider than what appears to be safe if I only can gain an extra .25 of an inch for backspace.

If I'm only going to gain .4 of an inch going with a 235 then I might as well stick with the 225/60 and not roll the lip.

So I think I'm back to the original question of asking are there any stock rims which are 15x7 that have 4.5" and 3.5" of backspace????? And if not does anyone want to part with what they have

I saw some of the new rallys they are making in Jefferson at the swap meet. Really nice. 15x10s and 15x5 with caps and beauty rings. I think I will get a set for my wagon.

Not sure how that helps me but I'm happy for you and your wagon.
