column mount

I have a ididit column in my 66 I was curious what did you guys use for the column to mount it to the floor. Did you use the aftermarket mount or use the orginal floor mount.

I used the original floor mount by putting a vacuum belt around the column where the mount attaches. It holds the column very well and prevents scratching.

Whats a vacuum belt?

I am thinking he means a belt that drives the beater head on a vacuum.

I though that was what he was using, but I wanted to be sure.. I would like one of those columns (Tilt) for my Acadian wanna be. Wincy

A 66 doesn't have the same lower mount as NOGO's 67. If you find/have a 67lower mount you can definately use it. Otherwise just use the Ididit lower mount.
