1974 Nova help

Hey guys im 17 recently bought a 1974 nova locally becasue this is my dream car, i was lokoing for a 1970 or 1972 but i settled, i got screwed, i was told the car was in driveable condition and that all it needed was a rear, i know it was stupid to take the guys word for it but i was excited so i jumped at the chance, turns out its not even close its going to cost me alot of money i dont have to fix it, the frame is rusted out trans or rear is shot cant tell so im trying to get out from underneath this car, i payed 2000 can anyone tell me around what it is worth, it has a 350 bored 60 over in it if you need to know anything else just post here im desperate to sell this car and i need to know a good price i was recently notified of a 1970 original SS if i can come up with the money so im desperate so please help me out

Does the motor run, if it does then keep it, you got screwed but if you have around 500 then you can get this bad boy back on the road. A Th350 tranny and a ford 9" cant cost more than about 500 from the local junk yard, just check them out real good before puchase (if seal are still good just check the fluid levels) dont give up on a dream car, and I have both a 71 and a 74 and personally I enjoy driving the 74 more.

I agree if the motor is a runner, don't peddle it yet...
