Need advice on dropping front end...

I am shopping for a disc brake conversion for my '73. I want to pick your brains as to whether or not to buy the drop spindles. I want to front end to drop down but I have read posts where the drop spindles don't really drop the front end. Is that true? Is it a better option to cut a ring off the coil springs? Lookng for advice....

Also, anyone using one of those conversion kits from 60to0brakesystems (ebay). I don't want to skimp on brakes but their feedback is 100% and people seem to love those kits. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Yes, dropped spindles do lower the car. Cutting the springs is a hack job, band-aid fix as far as I'm concerned. If you really want or need shorter springs, you can have them made to whatever length and spring rate you want...they aren't that expensive. Remember also when shortening springs etc. it affects the shock travel, so shorter or longer shocks may be in order as well.
