rack and pinion with big block?

I'm thinking of going with a manual rack and pinion from Unisteer and was wondering if anyone had one installed in their car with a BBC. I thought I remember hearing somewhere that you will run into clearance issues with a big block and rack & pinion but can't remember.

I run power rack from unisteer and I had some issues with my 2" headers. It depends on your headers. There was a guy over at camaros.net that used a manual rack and with his BBC and he made his own bracket that mounts to the frame and it fit with no mods. I think the manual racks are not as tall as the power ones so the clearence is a little more. He sent me some pics a hile back if your interested...
