Hello all. I'm about ready to invest in a full set of tires/wheels. I'm looking at getting some Centerline Convo Pro's. I'm just curious as to what size tire/wheel backspacing combo will fit my '72 Nova. Everything is stock. It has disc brakes.
Intended application is mostly street/strip with an emphasis on strip, so I'm looking at their 4" wheels. The 3.5" Convo Pro's are spindle mount. The 4" wheels come in both 2.313" and 1.75" backspacing. I was thinking that 1.75" would be better due to the fact that I have disc brakes, and I don't want any clearance issues with my calipers.
Has anybody had any experience with this? If so, what size backspacing would you go with?
