1970 396 engine

I got a 396 motor year 1970 that I may be selling............ I got it from a friend that was need for some money and I decided to keep my small block and part way with the big block. My buddies dad had it in his pickup truck but the truck sat up for about two years after his death. I took the motor to a machine shop and that is how I know wht it is. ( i was thinking it was a 454) What is the going price for these engines?

2 bolt or 4 main, what is the code on the pad IE is it an L78 block, I would say $300 up depending on the condition and which block it is. A CE coded L78 block can fetch the biggest money!:yes: If it's a 70 396 it's actually a 402, just so you know.
