There are a lof of wheel/tire size threads, so I did a search and I could not find the answer, but I apologize in advance if I missed it.
I know all Novas are different, and all that. But I'm wondering if 15"x10" rims with a 5" BS will fit on an otherwise stock rear suspension.
Anyone running this size rear rim? And if your running slicks I'm wondering what your running.
Thanks

Im gonna say no too unless you jack your car way up in the air and they will stick way out of your wheel wells....not a good look.

Thats a definite no. This is a 8" wheel with 5.5" bs and a 1/2" spacer. Tires are 275/60-15 mt drag radials. You would have to minitub and relocate the springs. Heres some pics to give you an idea

Ya, even 8" is getting close to max, you must have the correct offset to use an 8" rim. I had a 265 50 15 on a n 8" vette rim and one side would rub if I didn't have the air shocks up, yet others run a 275 on a 7" or 8" with more offset. I would say 10 is too much for the Novas.

Thanks for the replies, so it sounds like a 15X8 with 5" BS is the way to go. And as for the slick the equivelant of the width of a 265 is the max width for sure. And I would like a 28" tall tire. Anyone know what the equivelant slick would be for that?
Thanks again guys!

i run a 15 x 7, 4.5bs with a 28/11.5/15 et street, which is really the same as a 9/28 slick or a 275/60 tire

Im running a 15x8 rim with a 5.5bs and a 29x9 slick. Had to use a 1/4" spacer but everything fits.....the shocks are still in their stock location too.

Thanks for the reply, that's with a stock rear suspension? No shock relocation, etc?

A friend of mine talked me out of a slick and into something like a MT ET Street. Reason being that I don't have a trailer and if I can't get anyone to go to the track with me and bring my truck (with my tools and tires) in the back then I'm screwed. Plus the added traction is sure to break more stuff.
As far as the ET Streets I'm torn between a 255/60/15 and a 275/60/15. I know the 255 will fit but I don't want to spend the money on the 275/60/15 and then find out they don't fit.
Anyone have any thoughts?
