Lately the big project is fixing the front fender. The piece that rotted was cut off by the previous owner leaving us to have to work off of the opposite fender. We first started by fixing the fender brace which wasn't too big of an ordeal. we then moved on to the big part we marked and cut many times to get the correct line-up. Everything was good except the taper around the wheel was off. Nothing another half day of marking and cutting won't fix right?
So then we had to attempt to make the piece that allows the bottom of that fender part to be bolted up into the body which is pretty tricky to duplicate. welding is coming up though i haven't gotten much nova time with my cousin being down from New Hampshire and wanting to hang out with friends before the summer is gone. Here' what i got:

^^ What he said. I'd love to have even the SHOP to attempt work like that. Nope. At the moment, I'm stuck with mine the way the body is for a while. I'll eventually get to do work like that on mine, which it needs. I saw this past weekend the rear quarter is ate up down at the bottom corner of wheel well. Everything else seems fine, a small job for the OP I'm sure, but I haz no means atm.

I'll patch mine up like the usual "previous owner" , paint her hot rod black and in a year or 3, I'll jump in on this work.

Great looking work you're doing there bud! I snagged the photos for when I jump in on mine I'll have some more reference photos. Keep us posted on this thing, especially when you get that piece mounted.

no problem. upholstry is really easy. if you have covers on your seats right now you buy the material and use the old covers for a pattern sew them and your done:yes: it gets harder when you have to do all the measurements and create them yourself. good luck
