I have been trying to assign the value of my '69 Nova. I have a Nova that was orginally a 230 straight six car which now has a 69 vintage 396 in it. The car lacks A/C, power brakes, and power steering, but has factory rally wheels, and all exterior chorme. The car has a custom lacquer paint job (a candy/pearl marroon colored paint) that was applied in 1990 during a frame off restoration which is beginning to show its age, their are a few marks in the paint which have been touched up and the c pillars have some raised spot, which I know are not rust, they might be areas where there was improper prep. The car is very straight and is road worthy. Both doors have a sag and the passenger side may have some small frame/unibody damage (the passenger door hits the jamb) that a shop said could be repaired for $400. The tires and wheels are perfect. The car runs and drives very well, has new front brakes, and all the brakes are drum. The engine rebuild has less the 3000 miles on it. The bumpers are painted the same color as the car and all chrome has been blacked out. The interior is in a new condtion and is stock. For the most part it is a very clean car. I have looked on E-Bay and some other car sites for values and they are all over the place. The car has been driven no more than 4000 miles since 1990 and has been garaged ever since, never seeing a rainy day once. I am looking for a true value not a dream price. What is your opinion of a reasonalble value of a car like I have described? I know without seeing the car up close its hard to assign a value, however I would just like to get a reasonable range.
