So after working on this car for the past year, this past weekend came and I got the motor back from the Dyno. Guess I had high hopes to have the car running by Sunday night. (Forgot to mention I can only work on the 68 weekends because it's 2 1/2 hours away) So now all I need is a bracket for the throttle cable which will be here tomorrow and I am going to try to shim my starter a little bit because it is like 1 mm from clearing the flexplate. Then set timing and she'll be back on the road. Got some good numbers from the dyno though... 648.7HP @ 6050 RPM. Motor is 496 Stroker, with forged crank, aluminum pistons, Aluminum Brodix BB-2 Plus heads, Solid roller lifters, roller rockers, Brodix single plane intake and holley hp 1000cfm carb. cam lift 0.757/0.757 duration int/exh 252/260. custom ground cam from my machinist. Using TH400 tranny with 12-Bolt 4.10 Posi. Check my link for a few pictures. Wish I would have taken pictures from when I first started but didn't have a camera at the time.
