spring purch

I have a 1970 with 5 multi leaf springs. I need to change the spring purch's because the prev owner welded frame connectors on and did some welding on them. My question is are they all the same? multi vs mono? Has any body used the repo ones they have for the camaro? I can get some from a local scape yard but wanted to make sure they are all the same.

They all fit from the Novas no matter what springs you have, but the Camaro ones are different, I don't remember exactly, but do know they are.:yes:

Keep an eye in our classified, I grabbed a spare set here to put frame ties in my car.:yes:

I purchased the Moser perches. They are really beefy compaired to the stock perches.

Did the Moser ones line up and bolt in just like the stock ones???
I went to a local yard that has some but still waiting to here back from the guy.He said he will call me when he gets them out but that was a week ago.
Might try one more yard.

Do not get the monoleafs. They are completely different from what you have now. The replacement multileaf springs are not that expensive.

the only difference between camaro and nova spring perchs is that if you use the camaro perchs, it will lower your rear of car about 1" and hides the spring eye bolt. the heights are the differences between camaro and nova perchs.....

Yup. I have Camaro perches in mine and it's lower than stock. You also get better handling from the relocated bolt, a la the Herb Adams mod that second gen Fbody guys do.
