68-74 Hoods Interchangeable???

68-74 Hoods Interchangeable???

I have a line on a 4" cowl and the guy says its for 68-74 just wanted to double check that they are interchangeable...

68- 72 are interchangable

68-72 are the same 73-74 are diffrent, they will fit but it will look akward

The only difference between them is the size of the lip where the front trim is attached. All fiberglass hoods I've seen are made for 68-72's. To make them work on a 73-74 all you need to do is trim down the lip about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch, then just drill the holes to mount the 73/74 hood trim.
