brake booster size

when i bought my brake conversion kit i got it with a 11" booster. i was thinking that it would give me more vacumn. does this sound right? tonight i found small metal shavings in my trans pan. getting it ready for paint well not now.

11 inch is what I have in my 72. Works fine and fits well.

The 11 inch provides the 1100 lbs of pressure needed for the disk brakes. A dual diaphram 9 inch is your best second option.

thanks for the info. now all i need to do is get the car together. and find out why my tranny pan has shaved metal in it.
