When I used to have 15x6 wheels on the front of my 64 with the stock suspension they interfered with the front edge of the fender.

15x7 with 4.5 backspace with a p235 60 15 will work with the generic 10 bolt nova rearend, its close but works on a car not lowered to much.thats the size thats on my 63 hardtop

Get a wheel with more backspace or add a fender spacer to the fender strut that is at the front bottom edge of the fender and that will move it out enough to clear in most cases.

Most guys use a BFH and beat the front edge of the fender in to clear it. GM designed the Chevy II poorly when they located the front wheels too close to the front of the wheel opening. Most of the aftermarket front suspensions remedy the situation by moving the front wheels back some and centering them properly in the wheel opening. That's one of the best features of them.
