I have "8.5/"4-7/8bs auto drags and I had to trim everything and they would rub on the inside also with 275/60's. With my slicks 26/10's they fit cause they are shorter. When I change to taller slicks I will have to get "7 auto drags. My street steel rims in the back are "7 rims with 275/60 DR's.The only thing they rub is the tailpipe on the pass side. Don't forget I "trimmed" the outer lip. Sooner1 4th-June-2009, 09:20 AM i was thinking about putting drag radials on my 73 nova and was wondering f anyone has already done this and whats needed to do it ive got a 72 nova and would be willing to bet the overall dimensions are similiar. ive got 15 x 8.5 rims with5.5 BS with 275/60/15's. rubs very lightly around turns and down my driveway-but i love these tires! wht73 4th-June-2009, 11:55 AM I think the rear has diff dimensions tho LIL NOVE 4th-June-2009, 12:25 PM had a buddy w/ a 73, he had 5-5.5 of BS & was able to put a 295/50/15 under there. so that 275/60/15 should work fine. just get a by 8 or 8.5 w/ that much BS... hope this helps... JOHN wht73 4th-June-2009, 03:26 PM The only thing is the 295/50 is "2.5/"3 shorter then the 275/60. I had 275/50 dr's on my "8.5 and they rubbed. My.02 fossilrunner 4th-June-2009, 09:53 PM here you go man. This is my '74 with 15x8 prostars 5.5" bs and 7/16 spacers. If I went with a different wheel I would go 5" bs next time.
