Loose Glove Box Lock1969L78Nova 28th-May-2009, 05:02 PM The glove box lock on my Nova must have been removed at one time. The lock is very loose on the box cover...Seems that there are either one or two washers missing on the keyed side of the mechanism. A thread on this site with photos showing how to remove the lock mechenism seemed to verify that. Can anyone verify what type of washers should be installed and secondly where could I find them? Thks...Martin DUH:turn: Just fixed it !...Seems the "escutcheon" screw was just loose. Removed the lock as per instuctions on this site...Tightened the screw and its now OK:D Martin |
