71 rocker panel?

i am thinking about filling in the seam where the rocker panel meets the fender with filler to give it a smooth look.what do yall think about this idea?

Someone posted pictures of that a while back and it just didn't look
right IMHO.

Plus, since the fenders bolt on, they will flex there and crack the filler.

That seam is too recognizable as, just that, and being filled it looks cheap or band aided. I think it will look wrong.

You know actually the factory used some kind of seam sealer there then was painted. I noticed this when we restored my 71.

Not at the fender, only at the rocker to 1/4 joint.
