help with rear wheel noise

i asked this question in the wrong section so ill repost it here. i was driving the 74 yesterday and all of a sudden i hear this taping noise coming from the back passenger side. it goes away when i step on the gas or when i step on the break, but as soon as i ease off it starts to do it again. could this be the wheel bearings? if so could some please tell me how to go about and change them? ( my first time doing this)

I would check your u-joints and then pull the drum and check the brakes.

I just fixed the same problem yesterday on my dads truck. Ended up being the pad seperated from the shoe and was moving around in the drum.
