Ray_McAvoy 15th-February-2009, 08:37 PM Hi fishn4evr, I've never seen an aluminum flex fan that's designed for use with a clutch. But that's not to say they don't exist. Fan blades designed for use with a clutch have a large hole in the center for the clutch shaft/flange to pass through. In comparison, non-clutch fan blades only have a 5/8" or 3/4" "pilot hole" to center the blade. The 4 mounting bolt holes are also spaced farther out on the clutch type fan blades. 71SS454 15th-February-2009, 11:47 PM A fixed blade fan will cool better, and with the clutch you don't need the "flex" from the other fan. | |
