Interesting story about that wrong build sheet. A guy in my town bought a LS6 car from the original owner back in 1977 from Fla. Blue/black vinyl roof, 4 speed, black bench seat car, all there except the guy had changed the steering wheel out for a comfort grip . in about 82 or so he was prompted to look for the build sheet. Found it in the usual place, he got a shock when he read it. Is said the car was a 307, auto, solid gold. Not knowing what to think, he brought it to us. You guessed it, It was for the car next in line after his and it had the same interior/color. So that was the same situation, the line mixed the rear seats up (1970 must have been a confusing year for line workers). But just think of the guy who pulls the LS6 sheet out of an old banged-up wreak and thinks he hit the Irish lottery (until he finds that one number off that is.......)

My Nova had the wrong one in there too. It was for a Cortez silver w/ black vinyl roof Super Sport.

This is the second time this has happened to me...we found an incorrect build sheet in the front seat of the 70 Fathom Blue L78 car...same interior and exterior colors...just a different body number. 1969-1970 must have been an off years for the Willow Run boys:rolleyes:

Or they were enjoy work too much!
69 seems to have the most inaccurate builds, we've seen them with 70 parts, ei, grills, bumpers and the oddest for me was my trunk floor pan.
