Could anyone tell me what color this is on this car? I'm not sure if its a factory color or not but i love it! by the way the car itself, is sick. Thanks.

If it's stock, it looks like green mist poly (1970 code 45) to me:

Or Frost Green Poly...

that should be the same color as this. Which is a GM color code 59. Your paint shop should be able to cross the number for you.

Dark green is metallic. Most of the colors where metallics unless it is yellow, red, black, white. I dont think there where any greens or blues that where non metallic in that era. Ok, baby blue that came on the 69 Camaro but that was a special order.

Jake2 It's your lucky day. I looked at that car last fall when it was for sale not to far from me. I don't know if he still has it but I can make a trip to his house and get the paint code for you. The picture's do not do that car justice. It had a awsome sounding 385 in it. Car was absolutly beautiful. From what I remember it was a metalic paint.

That was a really nice color that GM did with minor variations across several models. It is pretty close to the new VW Beetle Green (2006 and newer) LA6K/L9 . At my daughter's insistence I painted mine that color and now I really like it.

Well, I went at talked to the guy today, it was a one off color that he mixed up:(. He wasn't sure what color he started with but he did tell me it had some silver and pearl white in it. He also said that he sold the car to a guy in Ohio, but not sure where. I don't think that color would be to difficult to make if you started with Frost green then mix some silver and some pearl white and just play with it, I think you could get close.
