My last check in was back in December 07. Has it really been that long? I hope all is well with everyone on the forum. As for the 72', it's still sitting in the garage at the same point of progress since the last time I posted.

I had been riding the past year and just ran out of steam on the Nova project. I have since sold the Honda and bought another bike this past October. I still have to get the Nova on the ground as a roller.

Unfortunately I suffered a heart attack two weeks back so recovery time is here and will probably be with me for the next 6 to 8 weeks. Then I expect to get the okay to do some physical work again.

I was bitten by my other passion which is motorcycles and have just been enjoying the rides. I will however get back to the Nova this Spring for sure. Until then, this is taking up all my time........

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. I love the Nova but I just don't have the money to finish what I need to do. The economic crisis has hurt all of us. This Spring my son's very close friend who lives in Canada is coming down with his father to purchase the car. I, however, need to have it rolling by then. Not an easy task in my condition but I'll have to get it done. I have decided along with my son to put our efforts into the 86' Olds Cutlass. The motor is brand new as well as the interior. All it would need is body work, paint, and tires. I think that it's the most logical thing to do at this point. It would also free up a lot of space in the garage. Most of you guys have seen the cramped quarters in there. Believe it or not, I have that Yamaha behind the Nova as well. What a chore everytime I come home and need to put the bike away. This doesn't mean that I won't love my Novas anymore. Someday down the road when things come around financially I'll be back on the scene with another early 70's Nova for sure. In the meantime, my son's good friend really shows a passion for the car, almost like I had when I first got the car. He has done all his research for parts and such and knows whats left to be done.
