Not much to report. Finally got the car home from the body shop (2 1/2 yrs.) and have had a little time to install some pieces. Splatter painted the trunk yesterday. Started to install some molding. Had the glass company out to install windshield. Its starting to resemble a car now. The BBQ this year for sure !! Sean

Man that is looking nice:yes: It looks like you have a pretty neat set up in the back for moving the body around. I may look into something like that myself.

Hey Dave - The hood is on a blanket and the blanket is on the roof. Not only that it is a glass hood. I tried to put it in the house. Boy, that went over like a fart in church. Sean

I think in cost me about 25.00. I left the leaf springs in, welded the casters to a cross bar, and u-bolted the whole thing to the leaf springs. Works bitchen. Sean

Looks great man:D. Whats next on the agenda? Front end ? Motor? That had to be a hard waiting process on the body work. They gave you too much time to change your mind on things. It only helped me and may other out though:cool:

2 1/2 years is correct. The shops around here don't want to do full restoration paint jobs anymore. The guy tells me he can get in a late model car or truck, that has been in a traffic accident, fixed and down the road in less than a month and make just as much. So anytime he got overloaded with gravy, mine went to the back burner. Its done now and it looks great so no use cry'in over spilled milk.

Well Dave, A little but, as you know never as quick as we would like it. I did get the trunk and tail light dilemma resolved. I'm now mocking up the trunk for the battery, cell, fuel pump, etc. I did get my cluster back together with my new 64PRONOVA SPECIAL tach. Jeff did a great job and I cant wait to get it installed. I got a few other things done that are not photo worthy but, I'm plugging along. Sean

Well, I've had a chance to get the front clip installed. Also had a guy come to the house and put a headliner in. I got the quarter glass and wind wings installed. Started installing the Dyna-mat. Still shooting for the BBQ.

I also picked up the newest double "D" steering shaft from CPP. It is now available nickel plated. No need to paint and no rust. Very nice piece.
