Not sure how easy it would be with out the use of a lathe. 6NOVA4 20th-January-2009, 04:45 AM I remember years ago I rebuilt mine with global west rebuild kit. I got one right, screwed up the 2nd one and wound up buying a rebuilt unit. Now they're sitting in a box in my attic cuz I went to a coil over shock. truckntom73 20th-January-2009, 11:03 AM I remember years ago I rebuilt mine with global west rebuild kit. Anyways next time I'll just by them redone.:D Mind you I did this wayyyy back in the late 80's early 90's. Dreuski 21st-January-2009, 09:58 PM Cool link. Can the bearings really stand up to the load that it will be exposed to long term? When I rebuilt my front end I noticed that my spring perch shafts were threaded would this conversion benefit this design. | |
