howto on rebuilding 62-67 front spring perches

Nice link Patman! The bearings were installed very nicely. Not sure how easy it would be with out the use of a lathe.

I remember years ago I rebuilt mine with global west rebuild kit. I got one right, screwed up the 2nd one and wound up buying a rebuilt unit. Now they're sitting in a box in my attic cuz I went to a coil over shock.

Hmm I could be wrong...either they discontinued them or maybe I got them from somewhere else. Anyways next time I'll just by them redone.:D

Mind you I did this wayyyy back in the late 80's early 90's.

Cool link. Can the bearings really stand up to the load that it will be exposed to long term? When I rebuilt my front end I noticed that my spring perch shafts were threaded would this conversion benefit this design.
