Odometer Mileage

I'm thinking that mileage on these cars are of no real importance due to the constant modifying. But I still had a Question on this subject.

My Odometer says 60,5xx. Theres no zero in front of the first digit (6). So is it safe to assume that its probably 160,5xx ? What happens after 99,999?

They just roll back over to Zero's. I personally can't look at the odometer and tell if it has rolled over but some say you can tell by the way some of the numbers line up (to me it isn't important). You can look at things in the car that will give you and idea weather the odometer had tripped though. Are the pedal covers worn badly or do they have minimal wear? How is the carpet or vinyl flooring? Look at wear patterns on knobs, seat material, how are the door hinge pins and are the doors dropping badly.... A nice 60,000 mile car shouldn't show the same wear of a 160,000 mile car.
