74 grille replacement

Is it possible to use a grille from a 70 through 72 after relocating the parking lamps back to the bumper where I personally think they belong anyway?

Why dont you just convert the front end to 68-72 style???

Truth be known... that's the plan. I'm just trying to make sure it's possible without too much hassle.

You'll need to replace the 74 hood with a 68-72 hood if you plan on using a 68-72 grill .

Are there any differences as far as bolt patterns between them?

i wanted to do the same thing to my 74. all that is needed to replace the grill is to change out the hood too? the rest will all line up?

run a search in the body and interior forums...this topic comes up at least once a month...theres a lot more than just switching the hood out to getting the grill to fit, in fact the hood is the least of the problems...you can do the conversion with your stock hood. but do a search as mentioned above.

This is all really good advise and I appreciate it. I should have listened to the site recommendations and done a search to find those answers.
