Window Tint?

I will be tinting the back three windows in the spring, and am still up in the air about it. I am going to have it done for me at a local shop, but I don't know what tint to go with. Post up your pics and what % you have to help me decide. I think I just need to see it to decide.
Not worried about it being too dark, nobody really cares around here unless it's on a rice mobile.

Previous owner added it to mine. I'm also going back and forth about removing it.

I don't have tint on mine but the idea is a good one. I have a '99 olds intrigue with 35% on it and it's not dark enough. However, the federal limit is 28%. I just thought I'd give you a heads up with something to think about.

It actually depends on your state laws. I had 5% all the way around on my Mark 8 but had to take off the font because it is illegal to have any type of tint on the front windows in jersey, but now that Ive got an FOP card:rolleyes: its going back on not as dark though.
Heres a pic of my mark with the 5% cant see out of it too good at night

Well then please allow me to snack on my foot. The sad thing is that I grew up in Jersey so i should have known that.

Haha thats ok. Im pretty shure there are no fedral rules on tint as it varies state to state. Any tint place will have all shades, heck thell even tint ur front windows in jersey they dont care money is money. My boss has double 5% on his cars you cant even see out of them in the day time.

Im in the same delema. I was going to replace all my side glass because its scratched up and replace with glass with built in tint. The most I could find was 38%. Im putting it on a Black 66 Pro Street. I was thinking more in the line of 25%. Would be a shame to buy glass then send it off to be tinted when I can buy glass with 38%. What do you guys think 38% enough for a black car or should I just buy clear and have it tinted?

I believe the legal limit here is 20% rear, 35% up front, nothing on the windshield.

No sure exact %. Although you have to get close to see through it. California does not allow front side window tint... haven't been stopped yet :D.

I plan on getting 20% for both the Nova and the Talon. As long as you don't create attention for yourself, you should be fine. Alot of people here do the 20% around.
In my Nova, theres no A/C so the window would most likely be open while driving it so I don't think i have anything to worry about.
I once got 35% (for another car) and regretted it. It was just to light for me.
